The 2021 CANE Annual Meeting

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the upcoming CANE annual meeting will be a virtual meeting via Zoom on consecutive Saturdays, March 13th and 20th, in 2021. Registration will be required to attend this virtual meeting, and more information about the meeting will emerge in the coming months.

Please use this link to submit your proposal for an individual paper, workshop, or panel of papers by December 15, 2020. The ability to submit a panel of papers is a new feature of the 2021 annual meeting. This grants the opportunity for a group of 3 to 4 presenters to submit papers on a pre-established topic or theme. Please note also that up-to-date CANE membership is a requirement to submit a proposal, so please join CANE or renew your membership if you have not already.

Please also note the many award and scholarship opportunities that CANE has to offer, including our annual writing contest for regional high school students, and an award to cover the cost of meeting registration for first-time attendees. I especially encourage you to submit nominations for the Matthew I. Wiencke Teaching Award for a primary, middle, or secondary school teacher!
