Last month, CANE member Skye Shirley released the Latin ReadHer app, available for free on the App Store. This app offers nearly two thousand years of women’s literary history in Latin and translations into English. This project was made possible by the Society for Classical Studies for funding the project, Avery Winder for the tech development and coding, the researchers (especially Jane Stevenson) for unearthing so many of these texts, the translators, the editors, the beta testers, and this community. It is free and available on the app store for download, or via this link. Spread the word that women wrote a ton of Latin (and this is just a small selection)!

If you don’t see the app immediately when searching “Latin ReadHer” in the app store on an Apple device, just to keep scrolling until you see it.  The more downloads it gets, the higher it can move in the list.
