CARE Student Motto Contest 2026

Would your students like to have their own personal motto? Written in Latin, it can adorn a backpack or
a notebook or even a computer, and other students will be forced to ask them what it means. What a
great way to publicize Latin! My own “motto” is vis sit tecum (yes, I am a sci-fi fan), but it can’t be used,
since it is a translation of one that is already out there. This program is being run by CANE retirees:
CARE. Read the description and have fun!
