CARE Zoom Meeting, 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 4

The next full meeting of CARE will be held via Zoom on Tuesday 4 April 2023. An agenda will be sent to all members on Thursday 30 March. We will review the just concluded Annual Meeting of CANE, and an agenda highlight will be the reading and translation of a selected passage from Cicero’s De Senectute in which he outlines the four traditional “charges” made against old age. This will surely provoke some interesting discussion.

We look forward to seeing many of you on 4 April. If you have recently retired, and would like to join CARE (CANE Retirees for Education) please contact Charlie Bradshaw at care@caneweb.org.

Also have a look at our CARE page for the results of our first ever motto contest. We enjoyed reading students’ personal mottoes and look forward to next year.
