The Classics Department at UMass Amherst is sponsoring two courses this summer that may interest you: Archaeology for Latin Teachers (for 1 credit) and Archaeology for History Teachers (for 1 credit). These graduate-level courses will provide an introduction to archaeology with special focus on aspects of archaeological discovery that may be relevant to the K-12 classroom.
