We are searching for a diverse range of committee members from all levels of education to undertake this important work. Please contact committee chair, Kevin Ballestrini (kevin.ballestrini@gmail.com) with any questions.

As a new autumn approaches, it is time to start thinking about the next CANE Annual Meeting, to take place at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts on 8-9 March 2019. Please submit your paper abstracts and workshop proposals by November 16, 2018 via caneweb.org on this page. Please remember that individual papers are limited to a 15-minute delivery time and workshops must not exceed a one-hour window. I am especially wishing to make next year’s CANE meeting one in which we welcome a plethora of new members and first-time attendees. So, if you are a stalwart member of CANE – first, I thank you! – but please also consider reaching out to your new Latin/Classics teaching colleagues, your advanced graduate students, and maybe that old student of yours that has recently been in touch to let you know that they have followed in your footsteps, to encourage them to join CANE and submit a paper or workshop proposal to the Annual Meeting at Holy Cross. We all have so much to learn from and teach one another. Make this the year you introduce someone new to CANE! –Susan Curry, President
