Thursday Resource: SORGLL

If you want to listen to Latin (and Greek) read in restored pronunciation, the SORGLL (Society for the Oral Reading of Greek and Latin Literature) website has a nice variety of selections: http://www.rhapsodes.fll.vt.edu/Latin.htm
The audio files are clear and easy to understand, and they also have translations of the texts. The original texts on the sites have elisions and long marks written in, which is very helpful for students who are learning about scansion and pronunciation.

Thursday Resource: Dickinson College Commentaries

Untitled The Dickinson College Commentaries say that they offer “Latin and Greek texts with explanatory notes, vocabulary, and graphic, video and audio elements, for readers of Greek and Latin.” They have all that and more; there is a list of essential vocabulary, clear commentaries, useful notes, and more. This is what an interactive textbook should be.
